In August 2025, Cybernews researchers showed that a single 400-character prompt to Lenovo's GPT-4 powered customer chatbot Lena would force it to render attacker HTML and exfiltrate live agent session cookies. Reported July 22, 2025; Lenovo confirmed August 6 and patched by August 18. The customer chatbot became lateral-movement infrastructure.
